This hackathon is designed to help engineering teams adopt AI-native engineering in practice. Working in teams, participants will select a real-world workflow, process, or engineering challenge and build a working solution around it. Throughout the day, Codex will support the full software delivery lifecycle, from scoping and planning to architecture, implementation, testing, documentation, and review. The goal is not only to build something useful, but also to explore new ways of working that help engineers deliver software more effectively and expand their tool set.
This is more than a coding sprint.
This is not just a coding sprint. It is a practical exploration of how teams can work with Codex across the full software delivery lifecycle, from ideation and planning to implementation, testing, documentation, review, and demo preparation.
Key takeaways
- Hands-on experience using Codex across multiple stages of software delivery.
- A clearer understanding of AI-native ways of working.
- A practical example of moving from an idea to an MVP while staying in control.
- Insights into where AI accelerates delivery and where human judgment remains essential.
- Ideas for a new way of working to bring back to your team.
Who is this for?
- Software engineers and developers
- Technical leads and engineering managers
- Solution architects and technical designers
- Teams exploring AI-native ways of working
- Enterprise technology and innovation teams
What makes this hackathon different?
Most hackathons focus on what teams build. This one focuses on how teams build. Participants will explore an AI-native way of working, using Codex to support planning, architecture, implementation, testing, documentation, and review. The objective is to expand the engineer's toolkit and gain practical experience with new software delivery workflows.
Why ML6 is hosting this hackathon
At ML6, we help organizations adopt AI in practical and scalable ways. This hackathon is an opportunity to explore how AI-native engineering workflows can support engineering teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle and help them experiment with new ways of working.
