This Website Privacy Notice will explain how ML6 uses the personal data it collects from when you engage with the ML6 website (the “Website”), when you subscribe to our Newsletter, or when you subscribe to one of our events.

We collect and use personal data that concerns you in connection with the use of our Website, your subscription to our Newsletter, or your attendance to one of our events.

  • Identification data and business contact information, you share with us, such as first name, last name, job/position/title, business / personal email address, business address, telephone number, mobile telephone number, gender, and date of birth,
  • Contact information you share with us in the context of events, such as first name, last name, job/position/title, dietary restrictions.
  • Additional information you provide to us in the course of your use of the Website, such as interests in our services, webinars, whitepapers, personal preferences, pages visited, and links clicked on the Website.
  • Electronic identification data and information collected by communication systems, IT applications, and website browsers, including technology usage (system and internet access), device identifiers (mobile device ID, IP address, device type, browser type, settings, time, and URL accessed, cookies), log files, analytics ID, broad geographic location (for example, your country or city location), and searches.

What purposes do we use your personal data for?

We may use your personal data and other information as described above for the following purposes:

  • to understand your interests and preferences in relation to the Website and its contents;
  • to monitor access to the Website or downloads;
  • to tailor the contents of the Website to you;
  • to provide customer support and process, evaluate and respond to requests and inquiries;

  • to register and organize webinars or live events.

Third-party websites

To whom does ML6 send your personal data?

We only share your personal data with third parties as necessary for the purposes described in the table above. Where we share your personal data with a third party so that it is transferred to or becomes accessible from outside the European Union (“EU”) and the European Economic Area ("EEA"), we always put adequate safeguards in place to protect your personal data. Examples of these safeguards are an adequacy decision of the European Commission or Standard Contractual Clauses. We have taken additional measures for the transfer of data from within to outside the EU, EEA to protect your personal data.

(a) our third-party suppliers, service providers and partners who provide services to us to process personal data, or who otherwise process personal data for the purposes described in this Notice or which are disclosed to you at the time we collect your personal data. This may include disclosures to third-party suppliers and other service providers that we use in connection with the services they provide to us, including to assist us in areas such as IT platform management or support services, infrastructure and application services, marketing, or data analysis.

(b) any authorized law enforcement agency, regulatory body, government agency, court or other third party if we believe that disclosure is necessary (i) because of applicable law or regulation, (ii) to exercise, establish or defend our legal rights, or (iii) to protect your vital interests or those of another person. This includes, but is not limited to, transfers to our auditors, legal representatives and similar agents as part of the consultancy services they provide to us for legitimate business purposes and as part of a contractual prohibition on the use of personal data for other purposes;

We and our external processors will only process your identifiable personal data in the EEA.

Through the setting of IT applications and policies we ensure that our keeping of your personal data is deleted or anonymized when we are no longer entitled to keep it.
