This hackathon is designed to help engineering teams adopt AI-native engineering in practice. Participants will use Codex as a hands-on partner across the full software delivery lifecycle — from scoping an idea and defining implementation tickets to shaping the architecture, building the solution, reviewing code, improving quality through testing and documentation, and preparing a final demo. Rather than focusing only on faster coding, the session shows how AI can change the way teams plan, build, validate, and deliver software.
This is not just a coding sprint.
This is not just a coding sprint. It is a practical exploration of how teams can work with Codex across the full software delivery lifecycle — from ideation and planning to implementation, testing, documentation, review, and demo preparation.
Key takeaways
- Hands-on experience using Codex across multiple stages of software delivery
- A clearer understanding of AI-native ways of working
- A practical example of moving from an idea to a trusted pull request
- Insights into where AI accelerates delivery and where human judgment remains essential
- A working demo and supporting artifacts to bring back to your team
The result: Less manual effort. More execution.
Who is this for?
- Software engineers and developers
- Technical leads and engineering managers
- Solution architects and technical designers
- Teams exploring AI-native ways of working
- Enterprise technology and innovation teams
What makes this hackathon different?
Most hackathons focus on building a solution. This one focuses on the entire journey from idea to implementation. Participants will use Codex not only to generate code, but also to help define scope, create plans, design solutions, improve quality, and prepare a trusted final delivery.
Why ML6 is hosting this hackathon
At ML6, we help organizations adopt AI in practical and scalable ways. This hackathon is an opportunity to explore how AI-native engineering workflows can transform the way teams design, build, test, and deliver software.
Agenda
- Arrival & Setup
Check in with coffee and pastries. Make sure your Codex access is in place and that you are connected to the WiFi.
- Kickoff
Together, we discover how to turn ideas into working solutions using Codex.
- Seminar
See how your idea can become a working tool in practice. Through hands-on demos, we show how real workflows can be automated from start to finish, including building a simple tool live and automating a repetitive task end-to-end.
- Lunch
- Hands-on Workshop
Hands-on team workshop to design and build a working AI use case.
- Team Presentations
Team presentations: problem, solution, demo, and impact.
