Nicolas Deruytter

Nicolas founded ML6 in December 2012. As CEO he leads the company and ensures sustainable growth. ML6 has been featured by Deloitte's fast 50 in '18, '19, '20 and '21 following 10x growth.

Nicolas is energised by realising a meaningful impact at businesses, people and society. Nicolas has been featured as a speaker in multiple events covering topics from entrepreneurship, innovation to practical applications of AI. Nicolas provides guest lectures at Vlerick business school in the AI & big data programme on creating business value. He is a member of the AI4Belgium thinkthank, advising the Government on the development and execution of the Belgian AI Strategy. He was nominated as IT Person of the Year in 2021 and 2022. Nicolas is a member of the board of directors of the Flanders' Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Voka).

Nicolas holds masters in engineering: operations research, industrial engineering and mechatronics from Ghent University. He’s passionate about empowering others, running, hiking, wintersport and enduro.
