As Sales Squad Lead, Steyn focuses on managing the sales team across all ML6 locations; ensuring execution of the sales strategy, a great customer experience throughout the sales cycle, squad member happiness and enabling their growth and providing clear communication lines between the sales team and the rest of ML6.
Steyn also was the first man on the ground in the Netherlands in his role as Country Lead NL. He built the ML6 brand in the Netherlands, setup the (financial) administration, acquired the first customers, setup sponsorships and partnerships and set the culture of the company.In addition to the roles above, Steyn acts primarily as account manager for a selected number of larger corporates in the FSI - , real estate - and High Tech industry, hence staying fully grounded in the quickly evolving reality of the AI domain.
Steyn has previously worked in Asset Management, Education, Oil & Gas and IT consulting for Charitable Institutions what allowed him to build up valuable industry knowledge and being able to apply relevant knowledge in different contexts. Besides, he completed the Artificial Intelligence Program at Oxford to be fully up-to-speed with the AI domain.
