Joppe Massant

Joppe is a machine learning engineer whose goal is to use his skills to do good for society. He did a bachelor and master in computer science engineering. Due to his passion on the topic of environment and climate change, he also studied a postgraduate program in weather and climate modelling.

Joppe’s always on the lookout for environmental use cases in machine learning, such as applying image segmentation for coral reef researchers, and has organized a meetup in the past on the topic of machine learning and climate change.

Within ML6, he’s also part of the structured data chapter, where he has done work on the topics of data quality and physics informed machine learning. Apart from that, he also has experience with a broad range of GCP technologies and MLOps, training machine learning models and bringing them to a production environment.
