At ML6, we want to stay at the forefront of innovation through our chapters. These chapters are cross-functional groups of people interested in the same (research) area. We have 5 chapters: NLP, Computer Vision, Structured Data, ML in Production, and Software Architecture.
Every quarter, we organize an internal chapter conference which gives chapter members the opportunity to share their learnings and latest ideas to the rest of ML6. This way, the knowledge that is generated within the chapters can be shared throughout the company. As part of the chapter conference, we also sometimes invite an external speaker to share their knowledge and insights with us.
In the last chapter conference, we had the honour to welcome Niels Rogge, ML Engineer at Huggingface. He shared with us how he started contributing to the Huggingface transformers repo, the lessons he learned along the way, and how anyone can start making contributions in various ways. To make sure this valuable knowledge is spread outside of ML6 as well, we have also made his full presentation available on our youtube channel.
