AMSTERDAM/GHENT, April 14, 2026 – Cisco, the worldwide leader in security and networking, and ML6, a leading European AI service provider and developer of AI applications headquartered in Ghent, Belgium, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to accelerate secure AI innovation across Europe. As part of the partnership, ML6 will join Cisco’s AI Defense Design Partner Program and contribute to the ongoing development of Cisco’s AI security solutions. By leveraging this collaboration and local expertise, ML6 customers can now deploy AI applications with greater security and trust.
Cisco AI Defense offers real-time protection for AI applications, helping organizations spot vulnerabilities, prevent misuse, and meet new regulatory standards. It is available in cloud, hybrid, or on-premises deployments.
With Cisco AI Defense, ML6 customers can assess their AI models for vulnerabilities and deploy real-time guardrails that protect critical AI applications from evolving threats. With this approach, similar to an algorithmic ‘red team’, ML6 customers can gain confidence in the quality, reliability, and resilience of their AI solutions.
The phased implementation of the EU AI Act, including key requirements taking effect in August 2026, means organizations must take proactive steps to ensure their AI systems are safe, transparent, and accountable.
